hello there (chesterfield mars red)

I have been on this site loads to get info but have only just signed up…don't know what took so long but hello to you all. i have a mars red beauty which as the nickname suggets I have a love hate relationship with, all those from chesterfield will probably know it as jofs old car from 171 performance. Just got a set of ats cups from a mate whose mk1 has died and need them refurbing, anyone know of anywhere around derbyshire which is cheap but good. very poor at the moment but really want the wheels on. They just need the rims polishing really as the centre's are already painted. hope someone can help.

alright jim, hows things going? have you still got your silver mk1 and if so how's it looking. Cheers for letting me know about this site, full of stuff which has saved me loads of dollars. Mines ok at the moment, just kind of rebuilding it as something breaks, drops of, seizes or generally dies every week. got mot in a month or so and a huge list of things to put right for that as well. Still, I can't help but love my car. cheers for asking around bout the wheels, my fingers are crossed.

cheers rob, how much roughly would you charge. I have to get the car through the MOT first, but have a set of refurbed P-slots with centres to sell then I can sort the Cups. God I wish I was rich!!

Could do with having a look at them but for mk1 members i would probably say about 30 quid each
