Thanks lads, I put up a thread in the Golf projects section (hopefully in the right section?)

http://www.vwgolfmk1.org.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=125827

No recent pictures as its now become my daily and is always dirty, I'll be working on it again over the Christmas and will take more snaps. The Schmidts are a small bit to wide but will have to do for now until I can afford something else.

Hi people I'm from Mansfield and really have nick clue what I'm doing but am attempting to sort out a mk1 caddy I have and was wondering if there is anyone local to me who is a bit if a specialist etc I also have an engine to put in it which I believe now to be a 2.0 l 16v abf but again  not sure. Are these good enough to do up and worth putting in a caddy ?? Any help would be appreciated. Nick
