Is it an original GTI engineering conversion or has it just got the steering wheel?

really nice looking car. Never liked white cars before but really like the Mk1's seems to be an almost creamy white. How does it feel on 16's I quite like them on 15's btu yours looks good. has it been lowered
upper strut brace and volkswagen 16v lower strut brace
mk1 golf's are a creamy white ,seen some repainted bright white
which kills them , does not steer half as good with the 16's on it

Some cars look fantastic in white - not many, but I think the MK1 is one that does.
Really nice car, you must be well chuffed with it!
(welcome by the way!)

i did alot of work to this car back in 2002 ,Body needed nothing
as car was kept in a store for 10 years before i got it
and sold it as you see it ,it has done 2000 miles since it left me
i bought it back last month after i bought and sold bob smiths old
car A960VUU which fell short of this car .

Blimey, if I got my memory right on Bobs old car (Mars Red Campaign?) then yours really must be exceptional as when I last saw Bobs (just after Gordon bought it - now sold it!) it looked VERY tidy.
You must be a perfectionist!!
