Hello from Flanders

Hello,
I already visited this site some time ago and it looks like I should have checked more often.  It looks like things have moved forward a lot since I was here last time(months ago).  Impressive!

So, I should present myself: I'm Guido (or Diego) from Flanders (that's the dutch speaking part of Belgium) and proud owner of a Golf 1 GTI 1800.  The car was bought new in '83 by my dad and I restored it a few years ago now.  Since then it only moves around on nice days.  And as you all know it's great fun to drive.

It took about two years to restore it.
In summertime I do some meets in Belgium.  
Paintjob was done by local VW-dealership and is very well done indeed.
