Hello from Essex

Hello all,

Ive just joined after spending ages trying to learn about all things mk1 on Google. Realise that this place is likely to me more helpful as I learn about Ze German!

I've been in the Classic Mini world for a while and just bought a Clipper after parting with a Cooper.  It's my 2nd Clipper but hoping this one will keep me away from Minis for good. My last was 2 years ago and wasn't a great example hence me parting with it pretty quickly.

The new one 'Gertie' seems to be a much better example. 71k and 3 owners. Totally standard and very honest.
Already been on a spend up… New Webber,  rear lights and a box of stuff from VW Heritage to make it better.

Planning a makeover and getting it to a very tidy state…. who knows how it will turn out and what fun it will bring ;-)
