Hello All

Hi Everybody. Just thought it was time to join the gang. I have just acquired a MK1 GTi Cabriolet, 1984 'A'reg 'All White' model with 53k miles. Bodywork and interior are in very good condition, and with the past few sunny days, I have been having lots of fun. This is my 2nd MK1 - the previous was a Y reg Hardtop GTI. I loved it to bits and was heartbroken when I had to sell, about four years ago - money was tight and the family was growing, so we had to get a 'family' car. I always knew that I would get another eventually, and at last I have.

I love my new car, and hope to keep it far many years. Looking forward to chatting with you all in the weeks/months/years to come. Any other members out there in the Aldershot area?

As you can see, I'm relatively far from Aldershot  8) , so you'll have to wait for some more local types to post.
