Afternoon People....Help!

Hi everyone, im new to this club today….as i only bought my golf yesterday!

I LOVE IT!…mk1 1.6ltr 1990 in silver…its in excellent condition and came with the original matts, cassette player etc….so retro!

i have no intentions to turn him into a boy racer car, but i would like some volkswagon alloys with the 'vw' logo in the middle to replace the worse for wear steely's it currently has on.

If anyone out there is selling something similar or knows a good place i could buy the alloys please let me know

or if you just fancy a chat, leave a comment.
i have very little knowledge of cars so anythin is a help

welcome….1.6ltr 1990 - are you sure its not a 1.8 ?  Presume its a cabby ?  Loads of wheels have the VW centres - get yourself in the for sale section and stick an advert in the wanted section

oh and posting pics of your new MK1 is essential

mmmm unsure to be honest. had originally planned for 16's but think ive gave up on that idea, 15's more than likely.
would consider anythin, with or without 'vw' logo.
only got the car yesterday so im open to suggestions.
cant wait to get stuck into it and start doin a few bits n bobs…jus need a licence now,lol

i have typed that into google and it comes back with MK1 results, hence the fact im on here.
is that definatly a MK2?

think it mite be - does it loko the same shape as all others you have seen pics of on here?

looks very similar to most of them…cant find anythin to suggest whether its a mk1 or mk2 on any of the paper work either!
it is the same as this…only not a GTI…same shape etc

Shorey no worries will still ask for wheels for you, i will ask him over the weekend for you and let you know asap, 15" are big enough in my opinion but its up to you  :dontknow:
