A newcomer introduces himself :)

Hello there.

My name is Bjarke, and I am a Dane, from Copenhagen, DK.
I am 18, soon to be 19 years old, and I am as of today taking my drivers license, expecting to be done in early 2008. I am(in cooperation with my father, due to my economical situation ) the co-owner of a Golf Cabrio MK I White Edition 1,8 from 1989. similar to the one in the link below, except "mine" has BBS rims.

feel free to ask. My mechanical expertise is as of yet not much to brag about, but I am willing and wanting to learn more about this, since i have been a VW devotee since my early childhood years

I will upload a proper picture of "my" MK I as soon as I can get a good front angle picture of it. at the moment it is parallel parked in front of the door to the building I live in. But if you want an "impression", I could do a side shot, if that tickles anyone's fancy?

although i must admit i dont speak english with very much of a danish accent. i've been told that i sound like some weird mix between slight oxford-english and a bit of scottish. This is probably because i went to an english-speaking school for 4 years, and had a Glasgow-born class teacher.

Stick to English regardless of the accent - my Danish is a bit rusty!?!??!!??!!

They're all Karmann, they are the company who made them :wink:
