A newbie

Hi I'm a new member from Hampshire.

I have an 83 helios blue mk1 Campaign and I love it greatly!

I don't have a huge knowledge of cars but am gradually learning bit by bit, as things go wrong/drop off or just generally wear out!

Need a bit of advice. The oil light and buzzer keeps coming on sporadically. No reason for it, and before you ask I have checked the oil!

Any ideas?

Hi VE hood to see you here with a nice colour.

Have a search on the flashing oil light as it seems it can be a problem with the instrument cluster but worth checking pressure are OK and it is not your oil pump packing up.

I had this problem, I changed both the oil pressure sensors, then i found out it was a fault in the PCB in the dash, just behind the speedo But as has been said you should make sure its not your oil pump dying!
Where abouts in Hampshire are you?
