Help help

Hi i wonder if anyone can help with the problem
About a year ago my problem started driving during the day everytime i put my indicator on my radio would come on and go off then i got to my friends house i turned on my lights and spot lights car died and clock and km went to 0000 went to have battery tested everything was fine. A few months after that come home at night freewheeling home turned on my spots engine cut lights out everything goes to 00000 next day took car to check battery and alternator everything is good. Now during the day as i turn off my car the needles on my rev and temp and fuel getters and clock and km goes to 0000 last night same thing but click and km went blank car would not start after a few min i could start my car and clock and km came on but 0000 Macanic and auto electrician cant find any problems. its i think a 2002 holf mk1 sport 1.4i

Not to knowledgeable on the newer Golfs, but if it was an older one I would say start with your Automotive Grounds, Battery to frame and frame to engine.

Second thought would be the ignition switch.

How old is your Battery?

As above, it sounds like an earthing problem
