Main beam headlights
Hi
The main beams on my 1993 Cabriolet will not work and the head light flasher is not working - all ideas welcome.

get a sub 10 quid multi meter, you'll be able to test the lamps, fuses and wiring.
Additonally, did they ever work? The common link is the switch. Has it been fitted with an upgraded reply system.

IF NOT, just do it. You can order the kit from ebay and your headlights can use higher rated lamps and the inners as well You will go from about 11.5V to 13.74
You will be glad your did, and going forward you will shunt all the High current load off the Light Switch so it will last you about the rest of your life.
