Spanish MK1 Golf Cabrio

I live in Spain and have purchased a 'Classic' LHD Golf, now we need a Workshop Manual, we have tried, Ebay and Haynes with no luck, don't want to download a whole Manual as we would like to keep it in the car but getting a Manual for 1991 Model seems impossible……..  Does anyone know where I can get one.  Gracias!

Have you searched for one of the Bentley manuals? They're not the cheapest but are three times the size of Haynes and better I think.

Thanks Hàiryarse, we are pensioners and only want a basic workshop manual for everyday basic checks, like fuses and tyre pressures anything major would have to be through a garage!!!

I've had a quick search and can't see a Bentley one for sale - they are hard to come by.

I'm sure there's a download link somewhere - someone may be along shortly with that!

In the meantime, if you purchased a Haynes manual then a lot of the basics would be the same, even though yours is a later Cabby.

All you need to know here and on this site, just use the google search box on the top left hand side type in what you want to know click the search button and it will search the forum for you.. There is a sticky of fuse locations in the electrical section.

Generally for the cabby  it's the brown haynes manual.
It doesn't cover very late models but should be enough to get you through most things.
Late cabbies had power roofs,some power windows etc. But info on them is on here.
