Front indicators

So I'm confused… I thought I got indicators working but it's only the rear ones. Any ideas why? Had engine in and out so I'm guessing it's a plug somewhere??

Do they work when you use the hazard light switch?

No the front ones don't work, even with hazard lights on. They seem to be connected to the loom at the headlights

The turns use a different fuse than the flashers but the parking lights are on a separate fuse as well, some years they cascaded the ground to the assembly, and some years had separate.

I would suspect the grounds as if you run a test ground do they then light?

Does each power wire have 12V to frame ground not the case or ground wire at the connector specifically to the frame?  if you say yes then you snagged a ground.

If you said yes then you can just run a new ground from frame to each housing.

What year of Golf, if you had the engine out you may have pulled the ground lead but with out the year I can't look at the schematics.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.
