Hi,
I've just had a quote of £380 to re-upholster the drivers seat to include replacement foam. Is this a fair price? Can anyone recommend somewhere in South or South East that does it.
Cheers,
Matt

Seems about as fair a price as any, and the bolsters do need replacing

If it helps, my drivers seat side bolster is away being trimmed with material I sourced from martrim after somebody here recommended them and I’m paying £120 for that work plus the £115 I paid for the material.
im using trimtastic in Milton Keynes as they are based within the Cool Classics workshop where the guys do a few jobs for me that I can’t do myself at home.

A new seat cushion base is around £100.
Material about £50.00 a metre.
Then paying for the mans time and skill in taking the seat apart, patterning , cutting out old material and sewing in new to match.
Depends on what he is going to do.
Some just fill any holes in the base cushion but that isn’t going to replace the rest of the 30 year old cushion though.

@matgent
Thanks for trying to help buddy, but my truck is so original i need to either trim the original seats or locate some nice other equal ones. They are a lot slimmer than any other mk1 or mk2 Golf seats see.
My only other alternative is to re trim them in black vinyl as they did come from factory with a black vinyl option as seen in the original Caddy brochure with my truck

Have you found the build sticker, that will have the interior code. Not sure were it is on a Caddy, on bulkhead behind seats?

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.
