Cabby roof handle

My passenger side roof handle has broken on my clipper,will a drivers side handle fit,thanks

yes they fit both sides

you will lose the safety catch to stop it being opened when moving so make sure your passenger does not use it as a grab handle.

Not sure anyone if has ever used as a grab handle.. must have been a health and safety thing. Lol.
But if you need a passenger handle I can swap you or sell you one..with 3 cabbies I Find a spare set useful.

I fully agree with Mark mark1gls  

The drivers side handle has been known to pop open if it becomes lose because of poor adjustment and or vibration. So If they both happen to do it at speed you've got trouble with a capital T.

Just watch what happens in you rear view mirror! 😂😱

Thanks guys,I didn't realise about the safety catch, a friend has got a spare drivers side that's  All,but would probably want a  proper one in that case,,thanks ken for your kind offer,I'll get back to you on that one pal👍

Pretty sure incorrect fitting and adjustment can happen on both sides 😉.. but as mentioned get 1 locking 1 to be sure…that a passenger doesn't operate with out thinking. Then make adjustment to hook fit once fitted.

Ya know that top handle sure looks like a Grab bar for those "O'Jesus" turns….  

Kind of like the early MG's with the "Come to Jesus" handle on the dash, that when you grab it and front end someone your passenger has a perfect pivot point to exit the vehicle through the front glass…..  Gotta love them early cars and no seat belts…
