VWs@Stansted (Essex) April 07

As promised details of the show!

Slightly different format to last year.

Still a family day with a good mix of all types of VW

Show is on the Saturday this year, with camping on the Saturday night. That way everyone can have a good day, have a drink and not have to drive home till the next day!

 

Saturday 14th April 07

Show open 10am - 6pm

Show cars can arrive from about 8am on, but we will be on site earlier if anyone arrives before.

?4 per person

Under 11s free

Camping ?6 per plot advance (paid by 23 March) or ?10 on the gate.

If coming as a club, one free pitch for club organiser (Glen??)

We're lining up marquees and entertainment for Saturday night with live music.

We've just secured sponsorship with Herts Insurance Consultants and Stevens VW so we're really excited that this years show will be bigger and even better than last year's!!

Sounds interesting, will add it to the calendar and hopefully will be able to pop along to help support the show, camping is a right laugh, any chance of a bump nearer the date ?

Don't worry Andy, I'll be bumping all the way to April now, you'll all get fed up with me!!

the only thing realy is i wont be turning up in my mk1 ill be coming in a 1966 jaguar 420 (my old mans)

*cough* I'm still here!! and still in charge of that norfolk lot  :wink: Yes can't see why I shouldn't be there and will deffo drum the boys from norfolk/suffolk as well, I can't promise a mk1 from myself but will have a vw and it will be a golf - thats all i'm saying ops:

Paying on gate is fine, but be there before 10:30 if you can, because after that we have to divert everyone to the public car park for Health and Safety reasons.

Public car parks not far away, the back section of the field, but you won't be in the show and shine though.

Excellent, thanks for promoting the show Sarah!  

Really looking forward to seeing everyone at the show. Just hope I get some time.

Hope some of you will be staying for the evening and camping.  8)

so work is going well, we'll have a good catch up at the show if not before, once the weather gets abit better and I get some time I might pop over to an essex meet - no promises at the moment though.

  Glad to hear you're doing ok. We'd love to see you at one of the Essex meets. They're going really well. Even in the winter so far we've had a really good turnout.
