Volksfest Wales Camping weekend

The MK1 Golf Owners Club have a stand booked with 10 places at present to this years volksfest wales and i want to fill it…
 
The weekend runs from 20th - 22nd of august and should be a good one.

I could be keen.  I'm actually free for that weekend (amazingly)!

Whats the deal?  Cost?  Convoy arrangements?

I checked the website but it doesn't give much away.

we havnt got any convoy as of yet but would be a good idea

its £18.00 in advance for the full weekend or £20.00 on the door.

the 1 day pass is £5.00

the main club stands only on the sunday any way i think, iv been waiting for a couple of emails about it over the weekend so ill give more updates to everyone as soon as i know more

I was emailing them last year when I was sorting a club stand for uk-mkivs.

 Just turned up on the sunday and told them we got a club stand and they direct you to the free space.

 They didn't even want to know what club.

 Only downside is, if anyone wants to enter the show and shine they can't park with the club stand.

just found out i have had this weekend stunted by another gig….

im working on the Saturday.. bummer..

so looks like ill be camping on the friday, leaving sat morning to get back into bristol, working, then may be coming back at about 3 on sat night. or might convoy up with richyhill on the sunday morning..
ether way, im getting drunk on the friday and ill be there for the sunday

The sunday is the main day anyway.

 Hopefully the weather will be ok.

My journey will depend on the reliability of my electrics!  Yet a gain the gremlins have surfaced!  Not entirely sure my alternator is charging (see thread in Electrical section).  Off to buy new bushes tomorrow.
