Hi everybody here is a list of dates for the new calendar of things that are planned for throughout the year in the northwest region

14th April club stand at Elscar at the races Doncaster racecourse

5th May Ponderose cafe

19th May Date to be confirmed All types vw show Bodelwyddan castle,

15/16 June Cumbria VAG show and shine festival camping Saturday

23rd June Classic car and motorcycles on Lytham Green, Lytham St Ann’s

26/28 July AGM

4th August club stand at Volkswagen northwest Tatton park,

9/11 August Volkswagen Festival Harewood house Leeds,

25th August Ormskirk motorfest

13th October Manchester Car and coffee Veterans garage 9.00 till 12.00

Found this very useful. Who organises the club stand for elscar? Is it usually a good show, went to VW fest at harwood house last year but it was over run with VW bus and not amny mk1 about!

There will be a club stand this year so let’s hope there will be lots more Mk1s and a great turn out,

Hi Rick, nice seeing you on sunday…good luck for future meets and given the cars at the show, seems that some dont know when meets are or whoms attending… especially with Mk1s ,MK2s,Camper,Beetles and polo… all been there could have had a nice corner full of VW's.

Are there still meet ups at the Oxford pub in Rochdale. I remember these from mid noughties.

Hi mate l don’t remember them l wasn’t a member but I’m the new northwest regional host and we do meet up once a month at the Premiere Inn carpark at the Macron stadium in Bolton on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7.30 onwards, the full address is 3 Arena Approach Horwich Bolton BL6 6LB hope to c u there soon.
