The MK1 Central London Cruise 25th July 2015 - It's Gonna Be Epic !!!!

Hi All

Its that time again to start planning for the 2015 Mk1 Central London Cruise Night a once in a lifetime chance to get your Mk1's pictured on some of London's most amazing backdrops

Last time was a epic night with some amazing Mk1's and one of the best MK1 photo shoots ever !! If you missed it in 2014 click here for a recap

This year its going to be even bigger and better ! apart from a few professional photographers will also try to have a top car mag doing a feature on the night and cars.

The date is now confirmed on the 25th July 2015 !! So please folks spread the word and any questions just ask  !!

I was going to stay over, but have to be back in Bristol early Sunday morning, so I just wondered what times its likely to be over ?

Hi Guys

So we set off from outside the Novotel Hotel at 9pm we then will be crusing to various photo spots then for some food at around 1am then continue onward till the late hours , to be honest last years went on till 4am , but its up to you when you want to leave guys no pressure  ( we wont chain you to the convoy) lol

THE OFFICIAL ROUTE

8pm Meet at Novotel Hotel

9pm Set Off

9.15 -10pm Millennium Wheel ( London Eye) Southbank

10pm Set off for main cruise route below

From London Eye over Westminster Bridge, Birdcage Walk then right on to Horse Guards Parade, left on the Mall then up Constitution Hill to Wellington Arch.

Then due to restrictions on Oxford Street we will have two options, if open will will do Option 1 below

So from Wellington Arch on to Park Lane then Oxford Street and Regent Street

Option 2 ( only if Oxford St is closed )

Onto Piccadilly then Shaftesbury Avenue then Charing Cross Rd

Back to normal route

On to Trafalgar Square the back to Horse Guards Parade then left onto Westminster Bridge Road then to St Paul's Cathedral were we will try stop if poss for some more pics.

Then up St Paul's Churchyard then slight left onto Queen Victoria St past Bank Station the left into Bishopsgate A10 , then right on Artillery Lane left on Steward St then right on Brushfield Street then

left on Commercial St and then right on Quaker St , our next photo location the Wheeler St Graffiti Bridge.

This location is small so we will rotate cars for shots , prob do Tin Tops then Cabrios in groups .

Then we set off for next photo location Billingsgate Market Traffic Light Sculpture,

So from Wheler Street head back to Commercial St and turn left onto it then follow it all the way to The Highway (A1203) and turn left follow this all the way to the A1261

( dont forget to rev your engines through the Limehouse Link Tunnel !!!)

Great place for people with video cameras to get some great shots then at the roundabout take the fourth exit on to Trafalgar Way to the Traffic Light Sculpture, we will do the same as before swap

and change to take shots , tin tops in groups then cabrios in groups .

We then go for a well deserved munch at McDonald's billingsgate E14 5SP

After that we will be going into various spots then over to Greenwich to finish the night off with some more awesome shots !

Rubbadubdub Mate it looks like its going to be big ! over 140 people coming according to the Facebook page so would say at least 40-60 Mk1's

Less than 24 Hours to go people !! If your still debating on coming don't and get up early wash down the MK1 and get your butts down to London you wont regret it !
