Stonor Park

Is anyone going to the Henley Bash at Stonor park? What is it like? i will be staying in Luxury accomodation in Turville - just a stones throw away. Rich i assume you'll be there? unsure of the date tho

There's a Vw show at Stoner Park on June 4th if that's the one you mean.  I go every year, and would say it's probably one of my favourite shows.

An excellent event with many nice cars on show and great stalls, hot dogs bit dodgy though…Started for the air-cooled boys & girls but all welcome. One tip, getting in can be a bit of traffic jam from the Henley end so worth driving around and coming in from the North if you can, B480 via Pishill, yes that's what its called.

Yeah - usually go up there - only about 6 miles from me - nice small show in a really good setting.

Maybe we should get a club stand going there this year??

Yep, gonna try and sort all this at weekend as been manic at work lately. Some shows I've contact, some not - hope to get them all sorted!

This show is my favorite! Just has to be done such a chilled out event.
Hoping to do a show debut of my car there this year, still needs MOT, tuning exterior trim and interior. So lots of hours to put in!

Yep should be there with the white mk1, and will be with a mate who'll also be bringing his mk1.

As i have never been to this event before can someone tell me if its a one or two day even.

and what should i expect to see… aslo is there anything there to keep the girlfriend entertained?

depends on if your g'friend is into dubs or not to how board she'll be  :wink:

saying that if she likes jewelery I think there is a few stands that sell dub inspired stuff so you could be ok

Well she was in a right mood with me on bank holiday monday as i went to "play", well she called it play, i call it working on the golf.
