I couldn't make it last month, I was fitting a new cylinder head to the Golf that week,  fingers crossed, I will come next Wednesday . As mk1magic said, how many mk1's attend normally?

i was at the last meet, there was a mk1 tintop, and i think 2 caddys, a few bugs, campers, polos, corrados, and loads of mk2/3/4 golfs,  :mrgreen:

good atmosphere, ill be there again in the corrado as the mk1 still has no engine ops:

the last meet was big got around 40 to 45 cars there, the mk1 turn out was low only got about 4 or 5 but mine will be out this time (red one with a fresh mot, yipee) and h's the other host (he broke down on the way last meet) and some other mk1's i know of so hoping to get into double figures for the mk1's

got to show the rest wat a true gti is, so who's with me??????

yeah the red mk1 is mine, as for my wheels their 16x7's and as you can guess yeah they rub but aint that bad, must be the 175/55/16 tyres (hard to find) that help, might have to take a couple of mm of the arches but just happy to have it on the road again at the mo
