What a scorching hot day it was and a good turnout too, especially on the MK1 Golf Owners Club Stand !

Now then James. Yes, my neck and forehead are very tender. That automatic golf was lovely. It had some great touches on it. The worst of the day had to be that pale yellow cabrio/plastic top thing……gross !!

Another personal fave of mine was the Dutch Mk1 Jetta on the sprint.

yes my head is blistered and weeping. Very sore i think you are right with the pale yellow/cream thing also another personal fav was 1. the dutch green mk1 with polished porsche flat face rims and the gold cabby at the back of our stand very nice...

Hi there,

So some of you found a pub on the way home!!!!! (If i wasn't so sun burnt i would have done the same) ……. the back of my legs are glowing and very sore and so is my nose!!!! I will save you all of a photo no worries!!!!

The pics of the day are great!! can't wait to see of some today, although not so sunny i bet they all had fun!!!!

I was there on saturday and my face and neck are still red raw, how did that song go: always wear sun cream!!!!!!!

What a great show, thoughly enjoyed it, highlight had to be seeing so many mk1's in attendance.

Mine was the race spec. series one on the club display.

Saturday was wicked! i look like bloody rudolph my nose is that red! lol! My fave cars of the day were probably the little dutch contingent woth the mint jetta and the porche rimmed mk1! good show lads!
