Gti spring Festival

any one going to the GTi spring festival on 24 april?

I am, first show of the year for me  

where is it..and is it just for mk1's?

Santa Pod, Northamptonshire. It caters for all VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda same as Inters, etc. Mainly modified cars there.

Who's camping on the sat night?

If I can finish the welding, spray it, source some parts and it passes the MOT I'm planning to be there!   

If not, I'll be at GTI festival july 10th@santa pod even if I have to tow it there!

Well looks like there's light rain on sunday for the sprint day  

will many people from here be turning up in they're Mk1's??

Mines not ready (as you can see in the restoration section) but if there's going to be a fairly good turn out of Mk1's I'll pop up there

looks like i'll be coming down the pod on sunday, I may even decide to grind my gears up. (more)

and just on the off chance…

has anyone thats coming got a spare Front Seatbelt??!?!?!  The ratchet mech on mine broke on mine today,  really should change it pronto!

hi im going on sunday with the rest of oxfordshire gti club, but im running my new mk4 gt tdi up there. the mk 1 will be hideing in the garage. my dad is breaking a mk2 would the seat belt bit be the same? if so let me know asap i will get it and meet you up there if that helps?

I have no idea if they are the same but its pretty likely they are, i'll see if I can have a look at my friends mk2 this afternoon and compare.  I won't know until later though:?

was a good turnout, weather held well and there was loads of mk1s ripping up the tarmac on the strip!

mine was the one with the gold pimp style BBS rms, lol
managed a 15.211 quarer mile!
