GTI inters meeting point

im gettin excited already about the inters, and yes i may be a little premature, but are we going to meet up somewhere and convoy to the show? I love a good convoy!

im local to the area and can suggest many a fine place too meet up if needed.

If you're local I'd suggest you go directly to the show. The queues can build up and be significant, you don't want to be hanging round a couple of miles away, twiddling your thumbs and waiting for someone who is late, while the queue builds up.

On the other hand….I'm coming from Cheshire, taking the M6 –> M1 so anyone want to meet up at Knutsford Services, then Hilton Park, on the Sunday morning???

can meet you on the m1 sunday morning or just off it… Leicester forest east services would be good for me if you are coming down.

If i am the nearest too the ground think i will be is there anything i can do too help?

Nath ques are always huge , just get there and park on the MK1 Stand .  

Last year despite arriving early ish on the Saturday we qued for over an hour .

I wouldn't go past those services, its a funny route, its all the way down the M6, then go through the stupidest junction in the world to join the M1 north for just one junction, then come off J20 for a couple of miles of B roads, etc.

yeah i know the way you mean, not far from stanford hall area.

i'll get there early then dont fancy sitting in a Q with my autochoke guzzling fuel!

OK I'm planning to be at the showground for gates opening at 9am on SUNDAY, so:

Knutsford Services - 7am
Hilton Park Services - 8am

Let me know if & where you want to meet, can swap numbers etc if needs be. If nobody else indicates they want to meet up at Knutsford services, I'll drive past it (or go another route!)

Just looked at these times and realised I'll be leaving home a bit earlier so I'll be at Hilton Park around 7:30am, not 8am…..I wanna get in that queue nice and early, so I can get onto the sprint track ASAP.
