Dub Freeze

Is anyone going to dub freeze on Sunday 20th February 2005?
The show is located in Staffordshire.

i,ve been thinkin about going but dont think i can make it
but i will be going to the 1 at malvern april 9th

I think I might go. I've been a few times before. Was called Bugfreeze a few years back and is still very much aircooled focused. I like Beetles and Buses, but if you're only into Golfs then you might not think the trip is worth it (there are Golfs there, but Beetles form the majority). It's best for the autojumble, but again, mostly aircooled bits.

Always gone to freeze,when I had the ghia,now I've got the golf don't see any difference. From what I can remember theres lots of watercooled stuff aswell and the jumble is really good. if its not too far for you its a good day out…

I made my choice and paid my money for the Show n Shine. 1st of the year…mainly water cooled and fairly 'Opp Narth'… I may even be lucky on the day and pick up a prize (thats a big may be!!).

Where is the show n shine Dano and what date?

My golfs a fair way of showing at the mo but its slowly getting there.

Does anyone know of any other shows up north?

Sorry for not replying earlier, interweb problems. the show is at Bingley Hall, Staffordshire just off junction 14 M6. I have never been before so I don't know how far from the motorway it is from there.
The other Northern shows are Elscar 17/3, Doncaster 9-10/4, All Types, Wales 15/5 and Tatton 14/8 to name a few.

Keep us posted guys as I'm keen as mustard to attend but never been to a Dub show. :cry:

It's not too far from J14 off the M6, about 6 ish miles. The roads used to be good around their from memory.

I will be going too, I'm from Swindon area, hope to pick up bits n bobs too  

Did anyone else go to the show? If you have seen the comments on the Club GTI site then you will have picked up the big negative vibe towards the event. For those of you who didn't go, you probably saved yourselves an expensive round trip. Most/all of the stands were air cooled. GSF didn't do any water cooled bits and the only stuff for us that I saw were 'Lexus' ligher etc and bit from Trim Sport.
I did pick up Best Standard Water Cooled 1st prize which I was very chuffed with but other wise I would have been quite disappointed. The motors outside were pretty good and some could have easily competed in the Show n Shine. No pictures from me I'm affraid cause I don't have a digital camera yet!
