Deva Dubs n Rods - Shrewsbury next weekend

Does this club have a stand there?

No there isn't a club stand. Some nice motors there but I've found it to be a mainly air cooled show and camping weekend.

I'll probably pop over on the Saturday and go natter with the Volkstorque members, but Sunday I'm down Luton at Festival of Transport

I went along, there were a few Mk1s around.
Heres some pics:

Any of these anyones on here. The Mars Red and Lhansa Green standard Gti's were something else so so clean and showroom. The primer grey one had some HUGE brakes behind those Compo MOs and "work in progress" written in the screen - if the brakes are anything to go there should be big power under that black bonnet.

I was there on Sun too, probably standing next to you when you took these - nice pics.

I liked the black sportline cabby  :)

Unfortunately, my camera's battery went flat  :(

The primer grey one would be mine 8) .Running a 1.8T with a Garrett T28 and about 250BHP.  If only I could find the time to finish the damned thing.  It was a really good show this weekend one of the most chilled out shows i've ever been to, will definately be going next year.

Nice thought that it was a quick one, as for finishing it at least you got the important bits done first!!

D10NHH think I saw yours in the carpark - looked nice.

Heres mine - also in the carpark:

Show seemed really good unfortunatley it was a mates birthday so couldn't make it on Sat for camping as planned - shame because the weather was fantastic as well. Like mentioned above it was mostly aircooleds (suits me because I'm rebuilding a Baywindow camper as well) but there was a reasonable showing of golfs etc. There were also a few hotrods which are always interesting to have a look round. Next year I'm definatley going for the weekend.
