Club Stand @ VW Festival 2006 - Leeds

Ok, Sunday 20th August at Harewood House, Leeds - looks a cracking venue and I'm gutted I wont be able to make it :cry:

However, we can have space for at least 30 cars if we need it. Booking needs to be in by 31st July latest. One difference, is they want tickets pre-paid for club stand cars so you can't buy on the day.

Therefore, as well as letting me know if you want to be on club stand, you must confirm either that you have paid direct for your entry already, or pay direct to the club and we will pay the organisers on your behalf.

To give me time to finalise everything, I'm closing bookings on Friday 28th July so please let me know by then if you're going and how you're paying. If you want the club to pay on your behalf, you need to PAYPAL us first with full amount.

We have a total of 3!!! 8O  Come on chaps, we can do better than this, who's coming - cracking event, great location, sure it will be sunny…..!

Is anyone defo going AND pre-paid. Booking for club space HAS to be in by Monday and all must be pre-paid.

If not enough interest (and pre-payment!) then I wont be booking the space.

Andy - doesnt look good then damn shame this when there has been so many people posting on here from the yorkshire and surrounding areas and its a top show to boot !!!!

Sorry folks, going to have to give this one a miss on the club front due to lack of interest/pre-payment but doesn't stop anyone from going!

Basically, yeah, not enough people expressed an interest before the cut-off date for organising a club stand. So, you can go there, you can park in the VW-only parking, but the club won't have a stand. Unless I've read things wrong?

No that's correct Paul, not enough interest and pre-payment in time to book the club stand.

Damn shame if you ask me when you look at other threads about this show and the many people that are actually going !!!

I spoke to the organisers and you can STILL buy tickets ON THE DAY and go on a stand!!  Dont know if this helps at this late stage?? :?
They get more of the proceeds from pre-booked tickets see, if you buy on the day they get less of a cut, plus they dont have a good idea of numbers!!
If there are only a few, why not join us on our Club GTI stand?? At least you'll have better parking!!
