Cholmondeley Pagaent of Power AUG 9th & 10th, FREE entry

The MK1GOC has been invited to attend the inaugural event of Cholmondeley Castle's Pagaent of Power, click the link below for info….

http://www.pageantofpower.com/

Here is a copy of the email from the organisers of the show….

AN INVITATION

You can see from the enclosed pack that the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power is an event that any car club should not afford to miss.

You are invited to take a club stand at this sensational event; and no ordinary club pitch either. If you are used to a club field being away from the action, then think again! The Cholmondeley Pageant club area occupies over 300m of the track frontage right on the first straight from the start. The location could not be more central to the action!
IMMEDIATE ACTION

You should not miss out on the inaugural event of what promises to be a very successful formula. With all the preparation that has been done to make the site ready, timescales are now compressed and you must act now to ensure your position at the trackside. Please can you go straight to your car events organiser to get the wheels in motion and book your car pitch with us, at the latest by 18th July.

BOOKING DETAILS

You will be offered a 10 x 20 metre pitch (or multiples should you wish), directly accessed to the exits, with lavatory and catering facilities nearby. There are approximately 30 pitches right on the track and direct frontage for your club will be secured on a first come basis. The second row of stands is immediately behind the first.  The pitch is absolutely free and we will give one free weekend ticket per car to stand on the pitch. You should arrange and purchase sufficient discounted tickets   to cover your club officials and club members for the weekend. Camping is available adjacent to the club field at ?15.00 per caravan and ?10 for a tent (forms are available to download from the website). Lavatory facilities are close by.

Tickets are offered to your club at a maximum 25% discount at ?30 for the weekend or ?20 per day. Please let us know numbers and we will send you the required number of car passes and tickets for you to distribute to your members.

Remember to bring regalia, bunting, gazebos etc. So your club stands out, to make it a successful as well as enjoyable weekend for you. If you would like to add a link to your website the address is www.pageantofpower.com

Have Fun!
Register Your Interest Immediately

We dont have very long to organise a club stand, also it does clash with NWVW show at Tatton Park, so this is feeler, to gauge if there is any genuine interest in attending this show/racing.

Cholmondely Castle is situated just off the A49 between Whitchurch and Warrington, so opinions please?

Good question Danny  :dontknow: , I was weighing up if there is enough interest.  If there was enough interest to make a 5 car stand I'd do Pageant of Power and watch the racing for the weekend, but only have until next week to confirm the stand, isn't leaving a lot of time to arrange it….I'll know one way or the other by end of next week

Anyone interested???????????
