BVF 2nd and 3rd July 05

Is anyone going to this show? I have never been before so can anyone tell me if its any good please?

The local CGTI gang are going down but if any MK1'ers are going from the North, or even NWM it would be good to travel together.

Yet again my attendance is dependant on Mrs Dano & BabyDub but we have a wedding to attend in Tenbury Wells the next weekend so I am billing the show as a kind of trial run to see how long it would take!!

Bets on me actually getting to the show…..?

Yes I ll be there mate, was good last year, although a lot more air cooled than water cooled! Good weekend though if the weathers good!!

I shall be there.. with my quattro as sadly both Mk1s are still in pieces :cry:  I will driving from Tenbury myself about 30 mins away from Malvern.. The show is loads of fun if you camp the weekend as we all start drinking and having fun once all the cars are polished up on the display. (CGTI worcs)

last year was a good laugh, didnt really think there was that much on offer in the way of mk1 bits tho!! Must be looking in the wrong places!
The piss up is good fun though, found an amazing chippy in Malvern too!

No you just got there after me..  Got a single headlamp grill with GTI badge and red trim, Sportex back box, chrome handles, steering wheel, strut brace, headlights and a pair of cobra buckets with subframes all in spent less than ?150.. Piss up is loads of fun and look forward to seeing you all there

Our secretary (Stephen Larkin) will be there, so look out for him. He'll be loaded up with a few flyers!

i would love to be there but car keeps cutting out when gets hot pump keeps going :cry:

Living in malvern, this is the highlight of the year for me in VW world-mine is only one of two mk1's that i have seen in malvern/worcester (central worcester that is). I got a flyer on my car-how do you become a proper owners club member (mine was the mars red, 1.5 gl). Just starting to fix up the car now-so this site is going to be handy! The weekeend was awesome-saw a lot of nice mk1's today (sunday) not so many about the other two days. Even though the show seems to be more campers and bugs, thats all good. Makes seeing the mk1's all the better!

Mine was there from late friday all the way to sunday afternoon......even got a leaflet from one of you guys on saturday so passed it on to the mk1 that arrived on sunday
