ive seen loads on the market autocaravan, auto tech (this ones more like a subframe check it out on their website) neuspeed, volksport,
i was thinkin of just retro fitting the one of a late cabrio, or rocco 16v and ive read that they will fit!! but never seen one a i like this idea as its OE, and what to keep the car as standard as possible.

The Scirocco lower brace fits almost all Mk1s….but I think only with the manual transmissions only. I picked one up for my 1989 Cabriolet. The two front bolts to the control arms were no problem. But you may have to drill holes for the rear mounts. It was super easy to install and nice OEM fit with those whacky curves in the bars.
And I paid US$35 for it from a fellow unloading parts from his Scirocco.

It also comes with the longer wishbone bolts that you need to use as it has a rose joint at either end.
