Wheel spacers?
I want to see if I can get the arches filled on my Mk1 C.
Its been lowered 35mm and has Golf GTI standard alloys on it.
I have come across this site http://www.performancefx.net/wshome.htm
but does anyone know what I should go for or recommend something for a newbie?
Thanks

On standard wheels, I wouldn't bother - it will look silly!
You only really need to worry about spacers if you have nice fat alloys but need to correct a low offset.

Really? Its just that with the car lower and with the plastic arches on it makes the car look quite narrow?
Wanted to fill it out and give it a much wider look.

i think what al's trying to say is they dont look wide anyways… so spacing them out wont make a huge difference…
ive seen 5mm and 10mm spacers for about a tenner… im sure u cud flog em on egay if they dunt change the look much
