What suspension

i wanted to lower my car and was going to buy fk highsport coilovers, but decided i didnt want to spend that much on suspension, as i only want them for looks as i dont use my car for track day racing. i have seen a suspension kit on ebay for 150pounds, from germany allows you to have a set up 0f 40/40 60/40 or 60/60 and rear setup can be adjusted in 5 steps (-20 to -60). Has anyone used these or anyone have any feddback for them or is there a set some one could recommend between 150-200 pounds.
thanks

I was looking at these a while back, but decided against it as i thought the from germany bit was a bit dodgy! I went for some jamex ones from ebay.?200 including postage. I've had em fitted a couple of weeks now and i'm quite happy. They're not adjustable but they're not to harsh compared with standard either! (although 2 of my old springs were broken and 2 shockers shot) My only complaint is that the NSR does seem to sit a little lower then the OSR but i've had this in the past with other cars i've lowered, it may still settle down :)  HTH

The only problem with a fixed height kit is that your stuck with the height you get, which coilovers would not be a problem to adjust to your perfect height.

Your right though they are very expensive but they are one of the best kits around.

Depends what height your looking to ride at? :dontknow:

If your just looking for a subtle drop then you cant go wrong with a 40mm fixed height and damping, from say Gmax, or Koni for a quality kit 8)

Wish I could afford those Highsports :banghead:

Mate , just go and spend the dough ! i was in exactcly the same situation this time last week , couldnt decide between supersports , eibachs s+s , bilsteins etc etc there is just soooo many out there  :dontknow: , anyhow my mate is an importer of fk and he phoned me to let me know fk`s are going to be going up in price cos they aint makin more than ?20 profit on a pair of coilovers !!!  :banghead: Luckily he knew i wanted a set and had orderd me a set a few weeks b4 hand (FK highsports). I got them friday and a set of new top mounts , and by saturday my cabby was nearly 3" lower !! the ride is superb , it isnt harsh or crashy ATALL the only grumble is that the rebound is maybe slightly to soft so shes a little bouncy . They really are great shocks , oh and if you do buy a set ignore all the idiots who say they rust , they dont if you look after them , and the spray that you get free IS NOT PROTECTIVE SPRAY , its actually solvent cleaner to remove road grime !!! ive also coverd them in high impact black waxoil to protect the plating on them .  :D

Right G-DUB! You've certainly made my mind up!  I did wonder why Venom motorsports prices went up over 100 quid in a matter of weeks!

I think some people on ebay still sell them for less than 400.

I cant wait till the end(????) of summer now!

Now where'd I put that student loan form…
