Brake fluid reservoir, vagcat seems to be done and I'm not sure where my memory stick with ETKA is. I would assume they are compatible but don't take my word for it.

Yes its a mk3 lhd resevoir from a non abs vehicle - not available here, and i ordered from the US in the end. I like the shape, as opposed to the offset block shaped one on most mk3's here.
Its a bit grubby though, anyone bleached theirs? I was thinking of just using a bit of ordinary household bleach…?

Part number i have is 1H1611307A
I did try my local dealers but they couldnt get them in (think they were just feeling picky)
Pretty common part in LHD territories, so ebay'd it think i paid about 25 quid all in, bit of a rip but i need to get my brakes finished
company called old era, they seem to have some useful bits

yep that part number is still available as of today according to my copy, but there is always the chance it will drop off the parts database after you order it as i found when i tried to get a scirocco 16v relay shaft!
i think you should be ok though as these are still used up to 2003 on the caddy so unlikely they'll be deleted any time soon

It was wierd - VW said they were available but he just goes 'but we cant get them in.' didnt really say why. Just gotta get them in the right mood i guess
Is there anywhere online where you can enter part numbers and purchase them at the same time? I normally use AVS but there stock is limited. VW dont seem to want to post any of my parts either is a right pain.
Cheers for your help
