Uprated Engine Mounts

I can supply if required up rated engine /gearbox mounts for Mk1 Golf's /Scirocco's (they might be better known as Volksport mounts)
I had these made years ago and used them on the 6 speed 02A in my Scirocco 16v Turbo. These were fabricated by the same company who made most of the items sold by Autocavan. Stupidly I left the jigs with them so they decided to make them for other people as well, Volksport, Neil Wood, G Works to name a few Companies.
The prices reduce with orders over 6 items and turn around is about a week.
I can supply redesigned front, rear and 02a side mounts. Not sure who has the cam belt side jig so this might also be possible as well.

Looking for uprated engine mounts for my Mk1.  I have an ABF engine installed, using a 1.6 close ratio gearbox.

Standard mounts are allowing too much torque fore and aft movement, and causing trouble with exhaust.  Just welded up the down pipe near the flange to beginning of the exhaust.

What can you offer?

I understand Chris on Club GTi has agreed a group buy with the fabricator for the front mounts.
If you talk to Kim (the fabricator) and mention my name tell him that you require the Mk1 rear mount as well, but make sure you tell him that it is not for the cable change conversion.
