upgraded front engine mount designs

Is there somewhere that still sells the improved front engine mount design for the Mk1? I think its Volksport and another place that did a very nice metal/elastic item.
Don't really want the poly nose/cup type

I have had a price back for the Mk1 Front engine mount, It is £135 plus postage.
It is the Volksport mount. The fabricator was the one that Geoff Thomas used when he was running Autocavan, though the company was sold when Jim died, but they are made from the same jiggs.

The price does reduce by 7.5% if more than 6 are ordered.
He can also supply the uprated rear Mk1 mounts - £87 or the full 20v conversion set £374 which is the front, side and rear.
I understand that Darren at G works has just requested another batch so these should be considerably cheaper than the price he sells at.

Oh i've found them a fair bit cheaper elsewhere

I presume the diff is the fact that he is buying more than 6 so getting the discount.
I do know they are cheaper for cash, but not sure how many tax men have mk1 golf's.

What price is Darren selling the other mounts for?

£78 + postage & VAT for the front mount setup. Apparently that's direct from the original fabricator as well, but with no mark ups

Sounds good. Chris on Club GTI is a good guy and have known him for years so will not rip you off. I would buy through him if it were me.
