tyre size???

ive just got coilovers on my golf and the wheels are only 6j i think and tyres 195/50/15 and they are rubbing a bit i think getting some smaller tyres with a stretch will prob sort it out just dont know wot size to get can anyone help?? THANKS

what's the et? you should be o.k. on that size. are you proper low, low?

If they are only 6j, what about some spacers?
Doubt you'll have any trouble with the arches rubbing, but that depends on the size of the spacers and offset of the wheels.

how are they rubbing, on the arches or on teh springs..

mine were rubbing a bit on the arches so i just made the ride height a little higher, still sits nice tho.

Good point Lawsey - I just assumed the coilovers would be rubbing with only 6j rims - but could be wrong............

not sure of the ET. but they are definatly rubbing the arches started slicing the tyre a bit. it does sit quite low i cant get my fingers in between the tyre and the arche!!

simple then mate, raise it up a bit!!!
