stage 1 clutch

hi all….
im after a stage 1 clutch for my sportline cab, it's getting an abf engine fitted and wanted to upgrade the clutch at the same time…
any ideas on where i can get one… also dont want to be paying to many££££££££

what sort of power do you plan to run?

Uprated clutch is generally pointless in a Mk1, since the original clutch is pretty good.

yup the gearbox will generally die first!

im hoping to achieve around 180 eventually, been reading forums and people are getting this with minor mods to there abf..
im not that tech minded so do you feel that a standard sach clutch could cope with this..?
the stage 1 idea is so that i have foundation to build on really.

probably be picking your brains a bit more over the coming weeks

standard sachs 210mm clutch can cope with 250nm of torque, you'll be nowhere near that at 180bhp

buy one here, match it to the gearbox you plan to fit:
