hello mate , my roof has done the same , but mine is like torn piece of clingfilm so i need a new one . It depends on if your roof has torn or not around that area , alot of vinyl hoods go britttle and crack away . If its all in one piece you can tuck the fabric back into the rubber using 2 flat head screw drivers . one to open the rubber gap up and the other to tuck the material back in . You can also push a 3 or 4 mil guage piece of wire into the gap in the rubber to open it up . its a bit hard to explain but its the same method as fitting rubber pop in or out windscreens . hope that helps .

If it isnt torn then its fixable but to do it properly you'll need to remove the rear window and staple the hood back onto the frame and then pop the window back in again and reseal it.
Its easier than it seems! Honest!
