Should be able to get a proper one (IE. Black) from "demon tweeks" or "peter lloyd rallying".
Google should turn up the websites…
If you want a shiny bling type cage - don't know sorry…

I came across this while googling…
Not that it's much help as they're in the States, but it is pretty sweet to look at all the same…

A friend of mine has just put an OMP one in his, he's had to mod the brackets though as they weren't a very good fit and sat at an angle. Even though its matt black it does look cool and suggests its rather a sporty car to drive - It has got a 16v in it though

Your the second person i have spoken with who has complained about OMP cages  , they seem very well priced but it seems for a good reason,
any chance of some pics?
and a further description of what exactly he had to do to get it to fit
reagards Gurv :cheer:

It wasn't anything major, the quailty of the cage is good, but its the mounting points…..If you line it up up on the passenger side the drivers side rear mount was off set.
Its easy for my mate to correct as he is a good welder for those who want a bolt an play then its a bit poor……He seemed more than happy with the result though.
I'll try and get some pic's at the weekend if poss.

OMP cages are a crap fit. I seen quite a few in lots of different cars and they all have a bodge somewhere. A mates Visa GTi has 2" blocks between the rear arch and the rear stays!

hi ive got a safety devices cage in my car, took a lot of fitting but not diffucult just fiddly. didnt want to spend mega bucks on an expensive cage to start so bought a rollcen**r one. this was a big mistake when i trial fitted it one of the middle legs was at least 4 inches off the floor and no amount of fiddling would sort it so rang them up at first they said "just use longer bolts and tighten it down" now i'm no expert but hopefully roll cages are stronger than the car they are going in so just "tightening them down" would result in a very bent shell  . in the end after much argument it was decided that my car must be bent 8O and they did give me a refund. not beliving my car was that bent i bought a safety devices cage and this fitted perfectly no problem. they say you get what you pay for and i can vouch for this. if you are going to count on a cage protecting you then buy the best you can

The rollcenter cage was probably designed around a platform between the floor/sill and the cage legs. Weld in cages are fitted like this so you can lower the cage and weld around the top of the hoops.

the cage was 6 point bolt in and it was only one leg which was miles out!
