problems wiv my cabrio
hi every1 can any1 give me an idea as 2 wats the matter wiv my 1.8 cabrio… it starts 1st time and idle's okish but wen i go 2 drive off it goes like a dog and loses all power :-s can any1 help me pls before i lose my mind.. lol

hi, i had similar problems with my 1.8 carb cabrio, turns out the fuel filler neck had rotted away and filled the tank with rust which in turn went through to the carb and fuel filter, it idled ok but drove no good.

if its later cabrio could be the lifter pump inside the fuel tank thats gone

hi john thanks for the info m8 i'm sendin it over my m8's garage now as it'd doin my head in.. stunnin car but runnin like a dog doesn't make me like it much grrrrr lol…
