power steering

what parts do i need and what car are they from so i can fit power steering to my 91 mk1 golf clipper, could someone please help? thank you

Hi Chortle that is the actual power streering i had on my car untill i made one for myself and sold it on
it is made out of a corsa b convertion to fit inbetween the golf steering column

Hi Chortle my last car was the same as yours could have been it's twin same year colour and auto and heavy steering
went to buy a part for it and bought the car i have now four years ago was going to get rid of this one untill i put power steering on
last year i will keep it now till i retire

I got mine up for sale now, yep it's great just select D and away you go. It shifts all right, suprisingly quick.
I did a 500mile round trip in her early on in the year, faultless. I don't mind the steering being as it is. But can see the advantages of PS.

yes could not fault mine i sold it to a local lad 4 year ago and he use's daily for work 40 miles aday,he loves it
i think it depends on the tyres you have on what the steering is like,i fit toyo's which accounts for my steeringbeing heavy
