polo 16v conversion into a mk1

Hi guys,
I have the opportunity to pick up a polo valver engine, gearbox, all ancilleries etc…. basically a full conversion for pretty cheap.
My car is a 1.5 GL, so its a big block.
I just need to know how big of a job it is to fit the polo engine, changing mounts etc.
I've never done a conversion before, but been thinking about it for a while.
Could really do with someone with some experience to guide me in the right direction as to whether its feasable for someone like me with little experience to do such a conversion, with a little bit of aid from my mechanic friend.
Any comments would be great.
Cheers,
Matt

If you've got big block you may aswell put a big block valver in.

yeah polo box is small block, so you'll be cutting off and rewelding the driver side engien mount on chassis leg, plus have to make your own gearbox mount for 5 speed. in short, fit big block valver ;)
