original scirocco 16v

HI Lads,
i'm doing a 16v conversion in my car, it has a 1.8 8v dx engine in it at the minute,
i have a 16v 2.0l 9a engine to put into it and i want to do it like the scirocco 16v not the corrado or
golf 2 16v ( air box on the right as you look into the engine bay)
i also want to use the isv,
i already got a scirocco 16v inlet manifold, rocco 16v injector hose's and the pipe that goes from
the throttle body to the air box, i'm after trying everywhere including mainly german ebay to get the
rest of the bits i want, pipe work for isv, breather hose's, engine loom, few brackets etc
but as most of you know most of there 16v rocco's are pl's not kr's
anyone know someone that might have broke one of theese
or a contact in germany?

anyone offer any help?

most of the pl bits will workon a kr, and the bits that arnt right you can use kr bits from a mk2. main bits you need that are scirocco specific are:

inlet manifold
inlet -> airbox pipework
injection pipes
front block breather & isv pipes
airbox (but not essential)

can use your old airbox and fit a mk2 kr metering head + air flap bit. can use the kr wur, injectors, wiring, ecu, 9a or kr 5th injector + thermoswitch etc.

pipework shouldnt be hard to modify from pl/9a bits

i justabout have the dx engine out of the mk1 now
so hope to put in the 9a engine in the next few days
and i'll see what way everything match's up,

there is a chap on the golfgti forums who has a mk1 with complete rocco 16v setup in it, though it might be hard to find his thread since it was a very long time ago i saw it

I'll have a look for it  

My friend Sean has a 16v Scirocco if that helps, It was an original lhd that he reshelled after if had a crash.
