has anyone got any pics of a gti mk1 engine bay that has an induction kit on it? please show if you do.

you cant put an induction kit on a mk1 cause it needs to take in air at the metering head to gauge how much fuel is needed….
the only option is to buy one of those adaptors from ebay that connect the the bottom of the metering head to an "induction kit".

I have a jamex induction box fitted to mine, it replaces the whole lower section of the airbox, can't say it really does lot except for being noisy at full throttle :?

pipercross also do one and their website has not so clear before and after pictures.

if you get one I'd advise on some sort of heat shield, else you'll just be sucking in hot air from the engine :roll: , which will cancel out any benefits you may have had from the induction kit and possibly have negative effects…
