mk2 hubs

does anybody know if its possible to fit mk2 16v front hubs to a gti cabriolet if so what work is involved?

I tried to fit Mk 2 G60 hubs to my cab but found that where the strut mounts to the hub sits in alot further, to correct that I got ajustable top mounts but these were solid so making the ride terrable.  You also need mk2 struts for the bolt holes to alighn.
The steering arm also sits alot lower which is ok if you lower the car to suit.

I have now returned to a mk1 setup and have adaptors to run G60 brakes.

Why do you want to fit mk2 hubs?? the only advantage is you get a bigger bearing everything else can be sorted other ways.

Going the spacer/G60 route myself , is it any good ?.
