The steering arm also sits alot lower which is ok if you lower the car to suit.
There is some info on vwvortex about this setup on a couple of race cars.
I have now returned to a mk1 setup and have adaptors to run G60 brakes.
Why do you want to fit mk2 hubs?? the only advantage is you get a bigger bearing everything else can be sorted other ways.
