Mk1 cab, changing drums to discs ??
Hi, I have a mk1 cabrio 1.8gti running on standard rear drums.
I have a mk2 gti that is being broken and wanted to know what was involved in taking the mk2 rear discs off and putting them onto the cab.
All I know is that the handbrake cable will not fit, but have been offered a kit for it from a local specialist.
Any info would be great.
Carl.

from what i remember you need Shirocco handbrake cables, im not sure where you can get these, i think some cars came with rear disks as standard.
