Mk1 16v throttle cable

Just thought I'd share some helpful information as I havn't seen this particular method suggested anywhere before. Last week whilst working on my car I discovered that my original 1.3 throttle cable fit straight up to my kr inlet manifold, I didn't have to cut it and bodge up another cable or bend my throttle pedal, it was a perfect fit and I can get full throttle range.

Hey mate, was this on a regular/non-scirroco KR (throttle body on driver side)?
