mark 1 seats

Hi i have a mk1 gti cab 1984 now prior to me buying it some one put what looks like corrado seats in  8O now what i want to know is ive sourced a mint mark 1 1983 interior i know the front seats will fit straight in but with mine being a cab will the rear bench fit straight in or will it need mods ?? cheers martyn

Hi Martyn,

you will find that the seats are all monted the same BUT the MKI cusion will seem to be alot wider. It can fit, but will be a very tight fit and may look a tad squashed in.

Well thats what I've found in the past when I try to fit cabby seats in my MKI. The base cusion was a tad small/short.

                        i had a suspision the rear bench would have slight probs but didnt want to buy if it wouldnt fit at all but i can live with a tight squeeze cheers martyn
