Ko3s turbo info

Went to buy a turbo today, did a google search on the code and got this info from seatcupra.net.

The post states that the early ko3s units have no impact on the 150bhp lumps.

is this the case?

Intersting info on K03/K04 Turbo's | SEATCUPRA.NET

I think that post is fairly old and I think things have moved on a bit. A lot of people sawp the KO3 for a KO3s including me simply because the KO3s is capable of more top end power wise once remapped.

Also to go to KO4 costs a lot more due to the extra things that need changing i.e manifold.

Thanks thats what i figured, the info on Seatcupra.net is very helpful.

the main difference apart from size is the TUrbo Outlet, its canister shaped, just hope the AGU connection i have fits.!

I have a KO3s on my AGU which I bought recently and swapped over and it fitted fine mate no issues at all. Haven't run the engine yet with it on but I am planning on a remap anyway once the car is all back together.
