How to make your own Cross hair headlights

1> I used a paint stripper heat gun to warm the sealant that held the glass lense on. It actually wasn't held on that well, half of it wa'n stuck down at all.

2. When the lense was off, I had a good look around inside the headlight. It wasn't too bad, some crud had built up over the years so I gave it a good clean. The lenses were dirty and there was some green mould/stains on them so I stuck them in the dishwasher! Wife wan't to happy! But they cam out brilliant!

3. I made my own cross hairs on my laser cutter at work out of acrylic. you can do this any way you want reallyIf anybody wants me to cut some for you, PM me.

4. I used clear silicon sealant to glue the cross hairs in. I thought that it would provide a flexable attachment, good seal and sticks to the glass well. I left them upside down while the silicon dries.

5. Then siliconed the lense back on to the headlight body, and da da! What do you think?

I've yet to fit them, but will do when the weather is good!

If you could take the lense off and measure the inside diameter of the glass, i could just cut them to suit. I took my 4 lamp grille off in favour of a chrome trim 2 lamp one.
